Tetra Pond Test 7in1 enables you to quickly and reliably determine the seven most important water values in ornamental ponds in one simple step. Evaluate the level of pH, carbonate hardness (KH), general hardness (GH), nitrite (NO2-), nitrate (NO3-), chlorine (Cl2) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
Application Suggestion Attention: Do not touch the test fields and do not hold them under running water! How to test: Dip the test strip into the water and move it 2 to 3 times. Tap off excess liquid. Wait approx. 60 seconds and compare the test fields with the colour scales. Chlorine (Cl2): Chlorine may be contained in tap water. As it is harmful to fish and bacteria, the water should always be treated with Tetra Pond AquaSafe before new tap water is added to the ornamental pond. By using Tetra Pond AquaSafe, the chlorine contained in the tap water is neutralised and toxic heavy metals are bound. Carbon dioxide (CO2): Carbon dioxide is required to generate good plant growth. Determine the CO2 -value from the CO2 –table. If the value is too high, use an air pump.
