Pedigree Wholesale has achieved its best-ever stock availability, following months of focused collaboration between its teams and supplier partners.
The business has made availability and dependable delivery a key focus, recognising just how important reliable supply is to retailers as they prepare for one of their busiest trading periods.
Steve Brown, CEO of Pedigree Wholesale, said:
“Our customers rely on us to have the products they need, when they need them. That sounds simple, but delivering it consistently takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.
“Over recent months, our teams have worked closely with suppliers and colleagues across wider business to strengthen our availability. I’m delighted that this hard work has resulted in us achieving our target of 95% availability. This is the strongest in stock position we have been in for a number of years..
“We are also delivering against key service indicators we set ourselves across returns, credits, order accuracy and OTIF (on time in full).
“There’s been a tremendous amount of hard work, tenacity and collaboration behind this, both from our own teams and our supplier partners, especially when supply chains across the world remain challenging and I want to recognise the part they’ve played.
“We all have a busy period ahead and our priority is clear: to continue being a wholesaler our customers can depend on.”
